Professor Emeritus (deceased) Wendell Potter was remembered at the 2018 American Association of Physics Teachers summer meeting in a session titled, "Models-based Physics Education - A Wendell Potter Memorial." At the meeting, held in Washington, DC, July 28 - August 1, four of Wendell Potter's former collaborators each gave a talk honoring Professor Potter and his work in the development of CLASP courses (Collaborative Learning through Active Sense-making in Physics) for introductory physics courses for bioscience majors at UC Davis.
