Welcome to the Astronomy Club at UC Davis!
We hold different events and activities throughout the year, all of which are open to the public!
Our events are put on by the Astronomy club officers and if you'd like to help plan or have some input or ideas, please come to our club meetings, which are usually held thrice a quarter. Elections for officers are at the end of Spring Quarter.
Public Viewing Nights (Various Friday nights, Weather permitting)
Members of the club also help out at Solar Viewings on Saturday mornings at the Farmer’s Market at Central Park
Camping Trips (usually to Mono Lake or Lake Tahoe in Fall and Spring)
Trips to Lick Observatory and Chabot Space and Science Center (Spring or Fall)
