Prof Albrecht Discusses Cosmic Origins with Brian Greene for the World Science Festival
Distinguished Research Professor Andreas Albrecht was interviewed extensively by Professor Brian Greene, as part of the World Science Festival. Greene kicks off this conversation, available on YouTube, with the following introduction: "We will be focusing on cosmology: all sorts of question relevant to how the universe began, the nature of time, the arrow of time, the origin of structure in the universe, whether our cutting edge description of cosmology is falsifiable, testable, and issues perhaps for the multiverse as well. I’m so pleased that the person I’m speaking with today is responsible for the dominant cosmological framework that really has been in place for something like 40 years and that is Andreas Albrecht, who’s at the University of California, Davis, where he is the Distinguished Research Professor at the Center for Quantum Mathematics and Physics. He is renowned for, among other accomplishments, his contributions to the development of inflationary cosmology."
