A good score on the Physics GRE is an important ingredient in applications to graduate school. To help prepare for the test, the CPAPC organizes Physics GRE Boot Camps alternatively for students from northern and southern California. This site is from our innaugural camp. Photos, some materials, and comments from participants follow:

"This was good for my focus & motivation for the gre. Taking a practice test was really good and a huge wake up call."

"Very useful. Thank you for the great experience and advice."

"The physics community really needs stuff like this, and the fact that UC Davis is contributing like this is great. I wish my university would take the same initiative."

"It showed me what areas I am lacking in and how stressful taking the test can be."

"It seems very useful and I learned a lot. Hopefully I see a real improvement when I take it."

"Very helpful. A longer session not during school would be nice."

"It really helped me identify my weaknesses with constructive advice from the other students."
